The modern entertainment industry is creating a new kind of artist. Talent may open the door, but today’s independent creatives are increasingly building businesses, developing platforms, educating their communities and taking greater control of the opportunities surrounding their work.

Jamonie Lee is embracing that evolution.

As an independent recording artist, entrepreneur and entertainment advocate, Lee is building a career that connects creativity with a larger sense of purpose. Music remains an important part of her identity, but her ambitions extend beyond the recording studio. She is also using her experience to create spaces and resources that can help other creatives and families find their way through the entertainment business.

Her latest single, “Have Your Way,” now available across streaming platforms, represents another chapter in her development as an artist. The record gives listeners an opportunity to experience the voice, perspective and authenticity behind a woman whose creative journey continues to expand.

For Jamonie, however, releasing music is only part of the story.

Creating Space for Creatives

Recognizing the growing demand for professional spaces where entrepreneurs and creators can produce high-quality content, Jamonie founded Rose Room Studios Content Space.

The concept gives artists, business owners, content creators and other visionaries an environment where they can transform ideas into tangible projects. Whether the goal is developing a brand, producing digital content or bringing a creative concept to life, Rose Room Studios represents Jamonie’s investment in an ecosystem larger than her own career.

That distinction is important.

“Independent artists are increasingly learning that ownership can be just as valuable as visibility.”

By building infrastructure in addition to creating music, Jamonie is positioning herself on both sides of the creative economy: as an artist who needs resources and as an entrepreneur who can provide them.

Helping Families Understand Entertainment

Another dimension of Jamonie’s work addresses a challenge many families encounter when a child expresses interest in acting.

For parents unfamiliar with entertainment, entering the industry can quickly become overwhelming. Questions surrounding representation, auditions, expectations and how the business operates can leave families trying to make important decisions without enough information.

Drawing from that reality, Jamonie developed an educational app designed to help parents better understand the child acting business. The platform provides information, resources and industry guidance intended to give families a stronger foundation as they support young performers pursuing entertainment opportunities.

It is a natural extension of the philosophy behind her other ventures: when you gain knowledge and experience, create a way for someone else to benefit from it.

Music, Business and Purpose

That combination of artistry and entrepreneurship places Jamonie among a generation of independent creatives who are refusing to define success by one job description.

She can release a record while developing a business. She can pursue her own opportunities while helping another creative build theirs. She can work toward greater visibility while simultaneously creating resources that may make someone else’s path easier to navigate.

The common thread is impact.

Rather than treating music, entrepreneurship and advocacy as unrelated ventures, Jamonie has begun building them into different parts of the same larger vision.

And she isn’t finished.

With additional music and projects in development, Jamonie is also looking ahead to upcoming events and collaborative efforts involving iHeartMedia. Each new venture provides another opportunity to expand her presence while continuing to establish herself beyond the traditional boundaries of an independent recording artist.

The entertainment business will always celebrate the performer standing beneath the spotlight. But increasingly, some of its most interesting stories belong to the people building something after the lights go down.

Jamonie Lee appears determined to be one of them.

She is recording the music, creating the space, developing the resources and finding ways to turn her experience into opportunity for others.

For Jamonie, the objective isn’t simply to secure a place in the industry.

It’s to build something meaningful once she gets there.
